• Leave about one-quarter tank of fuel and check that the tires are properly inflated.
• Disable the alarm and provide the carrier with a working key. Keep a spare key if possible.
• Tell the carrier about any mechanical problem, warning light, or inoperable condition before pickup.
• Keep your registration and insurance documents with you, not inside the vehicle.

Ask the carrier for any route-specific instructions before pickup. At delivery, inspect the vehicle again before signing. If you cannot be there in Tennessee, you can have someone else accept delivery for you.
