• Leave about one-quarter tank of fuel. Check that the tires are properly inflated, the battery is secure, and the vehicle can start, stop, and roll.
• Disable alarms and provide the carrier with the keys needed to move the vehicle.
• Keep your registration and insurance documents with you, not inside the car.

Ask your carrier about any special rules for inoperable, modified, or electric vehicles. At pickup, review the vehicle inspection report and make sure it records any existing damage.

Door-to-door service does not always mean the truck can reach your exact driveway. Narrow streets, low branches, steep roads, local rules, or limited space may prevent safe access.
